Thank you so much! The 虾子 is Shrimp Roe after i checked the translation and used it to search for more info about this noodle. Voila! All is cleared to me now...thanks to you :-D

The manufacturer of this brand I used incorporated the eggs or roe into the noodle. It's dried and packed in a bag of 10 large rounds bundles as in the photos with no separate sachets of Shrimp eggs... just like dried wonton mien.

I called it Ebiko noodles because some packages I saw on display in the supermarket were Prawn flavored egg noodles...the same goes to Abalone, Lobster, Wonton, Scallop flavored dried instant noodles with seasonings, etc.pixenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08189015058658260987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-589057777801750973.post-39574491584494364382010-06-09T19:12:18.831+02:002010-06-09T19:12:18.831+02:00Does prawn eggs mean 虾子?My family loves the one ma...Does prawn eggs mean 虾子?My family loves the one made from Hong Kong by Sau Tao brand (寿桃牌).
